Things that will get you banned ==================================================================== 1) Introduction... Welcome to Mechz! The greatest text based Mech MMORPG game out on the net. There is a wide variety of things to do here and many things are being added weekly! As a MMORPG it is never complete, always expanding and becoming better. But, as this wonderful game gets better, there are a few rules that need to be laid down as the law of the land for everyone to successfully have an enjoyable time. ==================================================================== 2) Behavior... Forum behavior is one of the utmost important parts of the game for Mechz. A good forum keeps a cool, friendly atmosphere where players help one another and have a good time. If anyone is caught posting inappropriate things like porn image signatures, racism (includes the term Nazi), ranting about specific players, complaining about the game itself they WILL be banned, or at least jailed (temp. banning). Please note there is a rule of only ONE account per person, our website will detect any and all-multiple accounts (AKA multis) and a manager will be notified immediately. Stay friendly towards everyone and you yourself should have a very happy time. ==================================================================== 3) Safety of Members... Threatening members in real life (not as in killing the Mech/Dragon they have) will be responded to with harsh punishment. The safety of members matters to us! If you feel your safety is at stake do not hesitate to send a letter (using in-game-mail OR email addresses) to a MANAGER only, do not send it to any other type of staff member. Just make sure you include what and why you feel worried/threatened (this does NOT include threats about killing mechs/dragons). Please only send one message though, as our great managers are usually busy making the game better. Any other type of complaint should be handled through the game mail/forums. ==================================================================== 4) Bugs/Glitches... We know that bugs/glitches can show up even in the most professional website. That is why there is a whole section in the forum part of the website dedicated to the finding of bugs/glitches. Reporting any you find in this section helps the website function better and with less problems to boot. Take notice of bugs already reported as not to waste space in the forum. ==================================================================== 5) Staff Members... Who are they? What is their job? We will answer these now. The staff members of Mechz are the cops/FBI agents/CIA/and Army of the website. Routing out the bad, and making the website more "acceptable" because lets face it. Not everyone is a happy little camper like us staff members. Staff members are separated into classes they are (from most powerful down) Managers, Admins, Editors, Brain Stormers, Bug Spotters. Managers are the "Dons" as one says, of the website, Admins are the Chiefs, Editors are the Sergeants, Brain Stormers are the Artists, and Bug Spotters are the Scanners. Each one of these positions is very important and thus should be treated with respect. ABUSE OF STAFF IS NOT TOLERATED AND RESULTS IN JAIL/BAN, anyone that has a problem with any of them can email admin@mechz.com. ==================================================================== 6) Advertising the Game... So, your bored, out of energy, no money to charge battery, need money. Then...I have the solution for you! Referring people to our website will not only help us grow as a community, but gives you Tons of stuff per member that signs up because of you. You can get your referral link in Section3 > EARN FREE CURRENCY. Great places to post your link. Your website (if you have one), Forums on different websites (make sure it is ok to advertise on that site first/ask permission from Admins of the site), Chat rooms, Friends and Neighbors, any anywhere else, School/Work perhaps! We at MechZ do not condone placing the games info on any other MMORPG Site This leads to harsh feelings by the other site and often hurt feelings. If you know a game site that isn't in anyway related to MechZ feel free to advertise it there. If in question ask on the Staff Questions Board. ==================================================================== 7) Account Security... Security is always important to us! So here are some rules. 1) Staff will NEVER email you for your id and/or password to the game, any one who receives one should report it to a Staff Member immediately (preferably a Manager). 2) Downloading any program or websites saying they have made a money generator to the site is a SCAM! There is no such thing, users downloading/visiting the site are doing so at there own discretion and Mechz will not be held responsible for anything that happens to your account. 3) Up-to-Date Anti-Virus is a MUST (preferably Norton) and also at LEAST 1 Spyware Scanner (and yes it is possible to have more than one Spyware Scanner) 4) Do not use the same password on other sites, as this may have unwanted results for your account. ==================================================================== 8) Banning/Jailing... Any rules being broken said as of now may result in banning/jailing. Banning is permanent; your account will NEVER come back, unless reactivated by a staff member. Jailing is temporary; you will be banned for a selected amount of time. Please follow the rules and do not break any of the strict ones and you shall be fine, if you do break them, then this is your only warning, you have been warned. As there really is not point to cheat (if you can, i doubt it) or break forum rules and many users will follow rules many will not bother reading this. But to those that do feel like disrupting BE WARNED, we do not take kindly to your type. ==================================================================== 9) Exploiting Flaws... If, by chance, you come across a bug in the game that, lets say, work at Mechdonalds without using energy. Then by all and any means report this IMMEDIATELY to the Staff. If you are caught exploiting this bug/glitch you WILL BE BANNED, no exceptions!!! If though, you do find a serious flaw and report it immediately, the staff may even reward you! ==================================================================== 10) Things that will get you banned... (1) One Account per IP Address/Computer/Home - Immediate Ban (2) Advertising any other MMORPG(Massive Multiplayer Role Playing Game) in MechZ (3) Cursing of any form in any place is not permitted. If your questioning wether its a curse word then dont say it! (4) Arguing with Staff. Threatening Staff and or Members who disagree with you. (5) Use of Macro programs. (6) Attempting to Hack MechZ. This will cause you nothing but grief. Cause We will know and so will the authorities, your gaurdians if applicable, and GOD. This game is meant to be played for fun not hacked.
